Pampas Grass Wedding Décor

Image
Pampas Grass Wedding Décor Our favorite wedding décor is pampas grass. It has been trending for a couple of years now and does not seem to be slowing down any time soon. The luxe tall, creamy coloured fluffy grasses add instant texture and luxury to anything from a bridal bouquet to a ceremony arch. Perfect for larger-scale installations due to its size and volume, pampas grass can also be an economical choice as these lush stems cover more space and volume then other wedding floral choices.   Pampas Grass is most associated with boho style weddings however, we have recently seen it used in more modern, micro, and even romantic weddings. Its versatility combined with its ability to transform a space makes it easy for those who want to create their own bridal florals. Pampas Grass style and texture makes it less complicated for those with little floral experience to create their own luxe wedding arrangements.   You can often create these wedding florals ...

California Casual

California Casual     We cannot get enough of the California Casual style with relaxed designs, a mix of classic and rustic elements, layers of textures, touches of vintage and lots of eclectic accents. A thoughtfully curated room can reflect the idea of the perfect California casual home that can transport you to the warmth and relaxation of coastal living. This look is all about playing with contrast. Create interest and layers to your décor with vintage mirrors and layered traditional rugs that highlight neutral modern furnishings. One of my favourite pastimes in California is attending antique shows and flea markets; my current picks are the Rose Bowl Flea Market and the Santa Monica Airport Antique Market . These are fun markets to attend, and you will surely find unique objects to complete your l...

La Vie Boheme

It was a popular 70s home décor trend, and it is back; Pampas Grass is making a resurgence, popping up everywhere from interiors to weddings. Pampas grass ( Cortaderia Selloana)  is a South American plant native to Argentina, Brazil, and Chile. Pampas Grass was first introduced to the USA in Santa Barbara, California in 1848. It grows feathery plume grass in shades of white, beige, and pink. I fell in love again with Pampas Grass spending a great deal of time in California where it grows in abundance. It only made sense as I transformed Frivolous to reflect a California Casual feel, and sought out products with that laid back aesthetic, that Pampas Grass would be a part of Frivolous . I love the texture of it and that it is a natural and sustainable material. I love that it can be used to add interest and height to an empty corn...
